Water is life

Give me water, let me quench
My thirsty throat, with the liquid
Of life.

Water is good, a free flow from the
Hidden fountain, where Mortal hands,
Can’t reach to create its taste.

Water is life my brother, what other
Liquid can soften my feelings and wet
My curious mind?

Pass me water; let me wash my feet,
Off dirt, stains and those timid pains
That troubled with dry taste.

Water is soft my sister, don’t be deceived
The others are sweet, but none as comforting
With free satisfaction.

Water is life my people – a friend to me
A friend to you, to him, to her and to
All living things in life.
